  "you get what you pay for"?.

  a couple of years ago i bought a lawnboy mower for $750.

  i probably only used it a dozen times since i'm not really big on yardwork.

  Some considerations--the ethanol lobby has been hard at work the last few years. Most fuel now contains 10% ethanol. Why is this important? Bear with me. Ethanol is a form of alcohol, and it is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs water.

  What does this mean for the fuel sitting in your mower that you never use? Well, all air has a humidity level, which is, yes, you guessed it, moisture in the air. The alcohol in modern fuel absorbs the humidity from the air and will sour in no time. It will foul up any lawn mower that is left sitting with unused fuel in it for more than a month. Alcohol is also hard on some fuel lines, degrading them and causing them to leak in short order.

  So, that mower you had with 5 year old fuel in it very possibly had better fuel in it than your newer mower. Bad fuel wrecks any engine, and you can't blame the machine for your lack of maintenance.

  here on jehovahs-witness.net i have come across theists, atheists and those that are agnostic that all claim to be friends because they're ex-witnesses like it is all that is needed for religious unity.. .

  why isn't this on the ad?.

  because every atheist i've talked to believes jehovah's witnesses are just another organization of stupid adults with imaginary friends, just a splinter of mainstream christianity a lot like the branch davidians.

  I felt it was insulting to those who had to suffer for the rest of their lives, whose schizophrenia did not go into remission. Nash was just lucky.

  How do you know this? I loved that movie. I think it's insulting to people with mental problems to tell them they have absolutely not control over their lives and if they get better, it's because of luck.

  I think the average person values stability above all else, even to the undermining of principles they claim to hold dear. In other words, I think most people would sell their birthright for a bowl of soup when they're starving.

  I think of it like accents. People can learn new languages as adults, but will always be identifiable as their native language by their accent. When we are new to this world, our brains are wired to funciton in a certain way. Accents and speaking are just one crease in the irrevocable mold. Children who grow up learning several languages simultaneously do not retain an accent from their native tongue.

  Yup, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, even when the tree is on a hill. Being born into a cult leaves an indellible impression that will never be totally eliminated.
